ORO VALLEY

Oro Valley is located in northern Pima County approximately six miles north of Tucson city limits. The valley itself was formed by the Santa Cruz River joining Gold Creek in the Catalina Mountains. The Town sits at an elevation of 2,620 feet, covers over 34 square miles and has a current population of nearly 40,000. Oro Valley is incorporated with a council-manager form of municipal government. The town has a 30-acre community park, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, racquetball courts and Little League fields. It also has three country clubs, six 18-hole golf courses and one nine-hole course.
